Even the persons who are around a smoker on a regular basis get affected by it.

It is not harmful for health as it is not made of tobacco. Smoke does not come out of it thus when there is a no smoking zone once can easily smoke. Another advantage of it is that there are several types of electronic cigarette. There is a type which you can use again and again as it is rechargeable. Even refills are available for electronic cigarette. There is hardly any disadvantage of such electronic cigarettes in general if it is not misused or used excessively.
