Investigators in the tobacco industry have spent weeks examining the fake cigarette situation which appears to be taking the country by storm. It has been reported* that specialists from a Swiss-based brand protection company, MS intelligence, operating in Birmingham found that Brits are regularly smoking fake cigarettes found to contain human excrement, asbestos mould and even dead flies. Around a third of packets were found to have contained fakes or cigarettes brought in by smugglers and those smoking counterfeit cigarettes have been warned about the huge health risks involved.
Regularly undertaking their own research into new studies and experiments, the results of this investigation sparked a significant reaction amongst the team at Nicolites. Managing Director, Nikhil Nathwani, further stresses the dangers of fake cigarettes.
The findings from this incident are really quite shocking and come with serious health implications.
